There are about 1200 different types of bamboo plants, all belonging to a family of plants with rapid growth, and they are rightly considered among the planet’s renewable resources (a bamboo plant con also increase its height of 5 cm a day).
The species used in textile production is the heterocycle pubescens, commonly know as Moso Bamboo.
The Bamboo contains a natural agent Bio-unique of this plant as “Kun” (or Kuhn) with strong antibacterial properties. These properties are transferred to the fabric as they are, without losing effectiveness as a result of subsequent processing. The cultivation of the plant, strong and resistant to bacteria, does not require any type of
pesticide.
